W. Gundersheimer Conservation Lab
Folger Shakespeare Library, Washington DC
Guild of Book Workers, Potomac Chapter Announces:

The Box as Stage Set
Barbara Mauriello

This small box starts out like many other boxes, with its tray and
case--and then goes off in unexpected directions. It develops feet,
finials, a stepped roof and, best of all, a sliding door. Since it
stands upright on its feet, this box is built to hold a single,
special object, or to reflect a staged scene. A photo, postcard, or
tiny painting can form the back-drop; or a mix of wildly-patterned
papers can become the subject of your box.

Cost: GBW members $125.00 + $20.00 materials fee
Non-members $150.00 + $20.00 materials fee
