A qualified paper conservator with several years experience of
Middle Eastern/Islamic works on paper and parchment is required to
carry out a condition survey and produce a report on the works on
paper and parchment at the Museum of Islamic Art, Doha, Qatar. The
initial condition survey is required to form the basis of a
subsequent conservation treatment programme (preventive and
interventive) for the collection.

The collection comprises a mixture of Indian and Persian miniatures,
parchment and paper, Qurans--some individual pages, some bound.

The period is for three weeks, competitive rates payable.
