Celebrate ALA Preservation Week this April

ALA's third national collections Preservation Week will take place
April 22-28, 2012.  Preservation Week is an opportunity to connect
the care of collections and family treasures with your communities.
Over the last two years, hundreds of events to provide preservation
education to the public have taken place in public, academic, and
school libraries, state agencies, archives, and historical

Brand new to Preservation Week is our National Spokesperson, author
Steve Berry.  Mr. Berry is the author of historical thrillers
including: The Jefferson Key, The Amber Room, and his newest book,
due out in May, 2012. The Columbus Affair.  Mr. Berry and his wife,
Elizabeth, developed their own foundation, History Matters, for the
preservation of cultural heritage.  For more information on History
