University Archives.

The Preservation Department of NYU Libraries seeks an experienced

policies for these materials; manages workflow for media transfers,
including preservation re-mastering operations to meet preservation
standards; communicates with vendors for outside services needed;
and manages day-to-day activities of an active media preservation
program. In administering the program, the specialist trains and
supervises two full-time staff and two FTE part-time graduate
assistants. In addition, the moving image preservation specialist
assists in grant-related proposals and programs for media
preservation as needed.
