trimmed

1. Paper which has been trimmed on one or more sides to insure exactness of corner angles and to reduce the sheet to the size required. 2. A book which has had one or more of its edges cut in the guillotine, three-knife trimmer, or with the plow, so that they are smooth, even and solid. Usually all three edges are so cut, hut sometimes only the head edge. (156 , 343 )
