water-vapor permeability

A form of PERMEABILITY applied specifically to water vapor. Because the cellulosic fibers of paper have a very high affinity for water, water vapor permeability does not generally correlate with the permeability of other vapors and gases. See also: VAPOR PERMEABILITY . (17 , 72 )
