I specifically asked the licensing supervisor of Dolby whether A/SR/E were
available in any form of software and she indicated NO. I did not ask about
B and C. The impression the licensing supervisor gave me was that Dolby was
not interested in licensing software of this nature.

She indicated that hardware solutions were available for A/SR/E and that
was what was offered.

We have further indicated to Dolby that the lack of software codecs for
Dolby E (an all-digital solution, actually) is a big stumbling block for
file-based broadcast systems.
